安部公房による短編小説『変形の記録』を基に、フリー素材の3Dモデルを用いて制作した映像。乗客たちは暗闇の中で座席に身を沈め、浅い眠りについている。ここではないどこかの風景を夢見ながら、その身体はバスの振動で震えている。だが、身体も、振動も、風景も、すべてが少しずつずれていく。彼らはバスに揺られて移動しているようで、そのふりをしているだけだった。関係のないものたちが集まり、接触し、散逸していくまでのロードムービー。

This work was inspired by the short story "Record of a Transformation" by Kobo Abe. Passengers on a late-night bus sink into their seats in the darkness and fall into a shallow sleep. Their bodies tremble from the vibrations of the bus, dreaming of a landscape somewhere other than here. But the bodies, the vibrations, and the landscape all shift slightly. They seemed to be traveling, rocked by the bus, only pretending to be.
